On May 16, Dong-A Recycling had the honor of welcoming a delegation of nearly 15 partners, including leaders from the Environmental Protection Department of Soc Trang Province and representatives from GIZ (the German Agency for International Cooperation), to visit its recycling plant in Tay Ninh Province

Mr. Le Quan Bao, a representative of Dong-A Recycling’s Board of Directors, shared insights about the company’s recycling plant model and the process of producing high-quality recycled plastic pellets. These pellets are then developed into supermarket bags, animal feed bags, and more at the parent company Mekoplastic – a leading supplier of reusable plastic packaging for major global retailers.

Throughout the meeting, the leadership from Soc Trang’s Environmental Protection Department and GIZ showed great interest and enthusiasm for Dong-A Recycling’s model. They asked numerous questions about the recycling of animal feed bags, the quality of recycled plastic pellets, and especially about the EPR (Extended Producer Responsibility) recycling service in accordance with government regulations.

This factory visit was of great significance, reinforcing partners’ confidence in the source of raw materials, product output, and the production process. It also laid the foundation for long-term partnerships between the parties in the future.
